POLICIES & MINIMUMS
The Filling Station does not charge a rental fee for parties. However, we do have a reasonable “minimum spend” requirement for all parties requesting our private party room.
The minimum spend requirement is based on the necessary kitchen and bar staff we make available for party reservations in addition to guaranteeing the space and making this area unavailable to other customers at the time of your reservation.
A credit card number is collected at the time of the reservation. This is not a deposit. The card is only be charged after the party in the event that the minimum is not met.
The minimum spend for the The Filling Station’s Party Room (ideal for parties of xx-xx) is $XXX Sunday through Thursday, and $XXX Friday and Saturday.
The minimum spend is the amount spent by everyone in the group – it does not all have to be on one form of payment.
If your group is not comfortable with the minimum spend requirement, we will gladly reserve space in our main bar area, if available, which does not require a minimum spend.
Once we book a reservation for the party room, we will turn down other reservation requests. Therefore:
In the event of a cancellation, The Filling Station must be notified at least 72 hours in advance to avoid the minimum spend amount to be charged. This allows us the opportunity to re-book the room. In the event that a party is canceled inside the 72-hour window, the minimum spend amount will be charged.
We do NOT apply an automatic gratuity to our parties. We aim for exemplary service, and in return we hope you feel that our staff is deserving of a gratuity of at least 20%.
